I’m Dr Luke Rex Miller, DPhil, MMath, BSc. I’m a technologist, engineer, problem-solver and innovator specializing in the domains of Machine Learning and AI. My work is underpinned by a long-held passion for Mathematics and its applications to the real world through the medium of data. I’m eager to utilize cutting-edge analytical techniques to generate positive impact. As the founder of ZL Labs, I’m offering my expertise and skills to help organizations create innovative, data-driven AI solutions, deploy them, and make the most of their data assets.

  • More than 9 years of professional experience working in Machine Learning and AI, in various organizations from start-up to global scale, from finance to energy.
  • Experience delivering projects end to end, from initial research through to deployment of production-ready Machine Learning and AI solutions.
  • Expert in Python, SQL, R, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud architecture for Machine Learning model development and deployment.
  • Vast experience of implementing Bayesian models for smaller datasets and training Deep Learning models for applications with large data.
  • Strong MLOps, Data Architecture, and Cloud Computing skills developed through first-hand experience of model deployment.
  • Awarded a Doctorate degree, PhD in Statistics from Oxford University, and a Masters degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Leeds University.
  • Published scientific papers in The Annals of Applied Probability and Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, as well as thought-leadership articles.
